My Life

I am not as sheltered as you may to think.
I am not blind nor am I trapped in a box

Where others make up my mind.

I do not fear what I can do,

Where I can go,

Or what I can succeed in.

For nearly anyone can succeed

Successfully in more than one path.

Where I am going you may not understand;

But what I have done is just the beginning.

My life has not been wasted,

It has merely, just begun.

My choices will dictate

What you and others think.

I may do things

Few will comprehend.

And despite what they say and/or think;

My life is no joke.

My life neither is nor ever will be wasted.

My life has just begun.
