I believe; therefore, I say
I
believe; therefore, I say,
God raised Jesus from the dead; Jesus is Lord!
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I
have eternal life. [1 John 5:13]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
[2 Corinthians 5:21]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
My
righteousness is not by works, but is a free gift given into my spirit.
[Romans 5:12-
21]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I am
spotlessly clean because Jesus bore all my sin. [1 Peter 24 and Romans 5]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I am
a son of God Almighty. [Romans 8:15]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
My
brother is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. [Revelations 17:14]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I am
a joint heir with big brother. [Galatians 4:7]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I
can go right to God’s throne in heaven and even sit down in his presence to
talk
with
him. [Hebrews 4:16 and Ephesians 2:6]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I was healed by the stripes (wounds) of Jesus. [1 Peter 24b]
In the
first Passover meal in Exodus 12, the blood was applied to the
doorframes
for deliverance,
and the meat of the lamb was broken and eaten for strength for
the journey
ahead. Both the shed blood and the wounded body were
foreshadowing the
work of our Lamb Jesus at the cross. His blood is shed to deliver
us from the
bondage of sin. His body was wounded for the strength of our bodies.
Peter says we are
healed by his wounds.
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I am
rich because he bore my poverty. [2 Corinthians 8:9 and 9:11]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I
have the peace of God that is beyond understanding. [Philippians 4:7]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I am
led by the Holy Spirit. [Romans 8:14]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I am
not under the law. [Galatians 5:18]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
All
things are lawful to me since I am not under the law. I trust the Holy
Spirit to
show
me
what is expedient (beneficial). [1 Corinthians 6:12]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I am
the house of God, and when I gather with one or more other born-again
King’s
kids
we are collectively the house of God. There is no brick or wooden
building in our new and better covenant that is called the house of God. I
don’t
religiously come to the house of God on Sunday morning (though we do gather
together unto him). I live in the house of God all the time. [1 Timothy
3:15
(note:
church here means
“called out ones,” that is we who are born of the Spirit.)
[1
Corinthians 3:16]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
Jesus Christ the Lord is the Sabbath Rest, and as a partaker of the new
covenant, I
am
invited and urged to by faith rest in him all day everyday.
(If we were
supposed
to be ruled by
the Ten commandments as law as in the old covenant, we would be
obligated to
cease our activities at sundown on Fridays and rest until sundown on
Saturdays. No
one can show anyplace where the law was changed to make the
seventh day
become the first day. Rather we are supposed to embrace the reality
(Jesus) instead
of the shadow (law).
[Colossians 2:17, Hebrews 8:5, Hebrews 10:1,
and
Hebrews 4:1-3]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
As a partaker of the new covenant, I am not ordered to give ten
percent, but I am
urged to give 100%.
(The law of
tithing that is used to tell people they are robbing
God is not part
of the new covenant. However, the principles of sowing and
reaping and of
flowing are as valid now as they were in the time of Abraham who
tithed before the
law. Forget that robbing God thing; that is law. We of the new
covenant are
urged to give 100% of ourselves, our property, and our families to God
and then depend
on the guidance of the Holy Spirit to tell us when and where to
sow and let
flow.)
[Romans 12:1, Galatians 5:18, and Romans 8:14]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
I
have been crucified with Christ; and, I no longer live, but Christ lives
in me.
[Galatians 2:20]
I
believe; therefore, I say,
There are many more wonderful nuggets of truth in God’s word.
