February 27, 2001 Monica, I am going to share with you some thoughts I have concerning the expectation of the our translation to the Wedding Feast. I believe that beyond the signs that most scholars like Hal Lindsey and Jack Van Impe point to there are a couple things to expect that are not being talked about. The experts on Ezekiel and Revelations point out that all the world is hearing the gospel. TBN now has 2,003 stations world wide. I don’t remember the number of satellites they have in orbit around the world now, but every nation can receive TBN if they have a dish, which is cheap in our country. I know many can’t afford a TV, but some people in just about every nation can watch TBN now. Also TBN, KCM, and others have elaborate web sites with live web viewing and much more, so most nations can receive if they have Internet. Also the Holy Spirit is moving on many nations through men like Reinhard Bonnke. He had 3.4 million native Nigerians accept Christ in just one crusade recently. The scholars point to the European Common Market as the obvious beginning of a one-world government that is foretold in Bible prophesy. There are others sighs such as how close the nation of Israel is to signing a foolish peace treaty with their deceitful neighbors--the descendents of Ishmael. The scholars point out that scattered Israel has been brought back into one nation headquartered in the City of David. There are many other signs also. This bringing together of Israel is one of the things I want to point out to you. I believe that the spiritual is foreshadowed in the physical. The Mosaic Law foreshadowed Christ and our spiritual approach to God. I am not hearing this talked about by anyone, but I believe that the scattered physical descendents of Abraham foreshadowed the scattered spiritual descendents of Abraham. The church was in unity and powerful during the first few years after the crucifixion of Christ. We were scattered not only physically but we were scattered spiritually and have been divided and weak ever since. As I mentioned in my last letter, watch for the spiritual nation of Israel--the bride of Christ--to be restored to oneness. That will be a big sign that we are about to be translated to the Bridegroom. One more thing that is my own opinion. No country ever gave finances, defense, and the gospel throughout the world as our country has. No country helped the physical Israel as the USA has. In spite of gloomy predictions about our economy, look for the USA to reap an abundant harvest financially and spiritually in the very near future. Maybe no one else would agree with this, but I believe that with all the obvious signs and with the restoration of the health and wealth of Christians in the United States of America, most Christians are going to expect the Translation. [I prefer that term instead of Rapture because it is more accurately what happens to produce the rapturous feeling.] We will all expect the Translation to heaven so much that we will be heard by the non-Christian world. They might not know what to think at first. Then I believe Father will delay the trumpet sound just a little longer because the Bible indicates that people will be taken by surprise. I think some Christians will just start to think we were wrong and that the end of the age is still far off. This will give the world a good laugh at the Christians. While the world is laughing, you watch. That is when we will disappear as though a thief stole us out of here. Indeed, that we were snatched by aliens is what the one-world government will teach. That is why Satan has already prepared the world with theories of UFOs. I want to add one more little thought here. I hope you know that the word hope as used in the Bible is more than the wishful thinking we call hope in English connotation. Hope in the Bible is waiting expectantly. It is like a pregnant woman hoping to give birth to a baby. We say she is expecting. In Biblical use of the word hope, she is hoping. In the NIV, Hebrews 11 begins with, "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Faith is being sure of what we are expecting. We are expecting to be taken out of here in the twinkling of an eye. O Glory! Love, Dad
